Philosphy of Educational Leadership

The primary intention of education is student learning, and all children are deserving of a quality education.  My idea of a model school consists of a community of learners whose main focus is student achievement.  High expectations are set, and staff members provide the support that is necessary for students to achieve their goals. The learning process is authentic, and students are encouraged to create products that are tangible and relevant with real world applications.

Effective schools have effective leaders. They transmit a well-defined set of goals to staff, students, parents, and the community. They work to establish a shared vision that helps to shape a positive school climate.  Ongoing school improvement is forstered through shared leadership and collaboration.
